DArrell Fay

Two years later, he earned his diploma from the Elevated Learning Academy out of Calgary, Alberta and is now one of British Columbia's first Metis Cannabis Health Specialists. He is currently enrolled in The Cannabis Sommelier Certification Program to become a Certified Ganjier. Darrell founded Zerohigh Cannabis Solutions in 2015, based out of the Kootenay's; it provides seed-to-sale cannabis tinctures and salves, developed from full organically grown cannabis to deliver a full plant, full spectrum product to the medical cannabis community. In its first 3 years, he developed a cannabis tincture and cannabis salve to help with certain ailments he was dealing with at the time which included: CHS, pneumonia/COPD, arthritis, psoriasis, and other skin rashes. He now uses CBD to effectively manage his epilepsy. Realising how much cannabinoid tinctures and salves helped with and resolved these issues, Darrell dove into the education of and science behind the endocannabinoid system in order to understand its relationship with cannabis; he developed a procedure to reach the quality, potency, and fast absorption rate in his tinctures. The products were tested over a period of three years and found to be extremely beneficial to many of societies common ailments and diseases, In 2019, his Cannabis tinctures and salves were filed for patenting and they are in Patent pending stage as of 2022. Zerohigh has 9 products available that fall under the patent, each has its own specific use in addition to many secondary endpoints, thus making these products very beneficial. Zerohigh's products are found to aid many clients Canada wide with various diseases and disorders such as: MS, Cancer, Glaucoma, Arthritis, Heart disease, Dementia, and Epilepsy, just to name a few. Julian scanlon
Knf and Permaculture
Julian Scanlon was born in 1996 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Julian moved to Italy with his family in 2001 where he lived until moving back to New Mexico in 2015 for college. During his time in Italy he was deeply steeped in the agricultural events of his community. Whether it be participating in seasonal harvests of olives and grapes or attending the plethora of food festivals, Julian experienced the ins and outs of what people now a days refer to as the “slow food movement”. Julian grew up on a small scale olive tree, vegetable and animal farm, and often spent his free time involved in ecological projects ranging from making wine, foraging and cooking. Both his parents provided support and experienced advice in the farming world given their personal experience and more ent role as educators in developing an Agricultural Studies class at the School Year Abroad program in Viterbo Italy. They are in continuous conversation about the innovations in the composting world, foraging finds, gardening techniques and much more. For the past five years Julian has been expanding his knowledge of horticulture through building soil, designing permaculture food forests, experimenting with drought resistant plants and delving in to fungi as one of the major catalysts to change. Julian is currently getting his Permaculture Design Certificate from The Advanced Permaculture Student Online. Julian looks to Matt Powers, the curator and ultimate teacher of the course, as a source of inspiration and insight for in a world with no blueprint for the regenerative farmer. Julian currently is exploring the depths of Korean Natural farming and other fermentation-related methods in the context of the arid American South West. In addition to growing everything he can get his hand on, Julian works as the Social Media Manager and all round collaborator at the UNI Fungi mushroom farm where he and the owner, David Augustiniak enjoy growing exquisite gourmets and exploring the steep Rocky Mountains for delicious and useful fungi. Julian’s ultimate goals is to facilitate the regeneration of our planet through innovative and ancient farming practices and doing so by convincing the masses via the correlation of flavor and healthy soil.
